Who is this for?
Anyone moving house in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland who wants one clear plan instead of a dozen open tabs.
Is this a subscription?
No. The checklist is free. The letters pack is £14.99, once. That gives you six months' access to it — the move itself and the fortnight of admin afterwards — and it does not renew.
What do I actually get?
Free: an interactive checklist dated from your move, which you can tick off as you go. For £14.99: a PDF pack of your plan and 13 letters written from your name, both addresses and your move date — signed by you and posted by you. The DVLA and TV Licensing letters carry their official postal addresses; the rest leave a marked block for your own bank, surgery or employer, because there is no one correct address for those.
I'm renting, not buying — is half of this irrelevant?
No, because you tell us which it is. Say you’re renting and the 12 buyer-only tasks — instructing a conveyancer, searches, exchange, the completion-day chain — come off your plan, leaving the 14 that actually apply to you. Say you’re buying, or that you’re not sure yet, and you get all 26.
Do I need to know my exact move date yet?
No — start your checklist with a provisional date and update it any time before moving. Every task shifts with it.
What happens if MovePlan ever closes?
Nothing is forever, so we'd rather say it plainly. If we ever had to close, every account holder gets an email and at least 60 days to download their plan and letter pack first — and if your six months hadn't finished, we'd refund the unused part. The PDF you download is yours and needs nothing from us.
